This year, the objective of the Tourism Our Greatest Wealth event will be to address the JESUIT CIRCUIT/RELIGIOUS TOURISM AND ITS POTENTIAL TO INCREASE FLOW IN ESPÍRITO SANTO.

For this, we invited specialists who work in this area to talk about successful experiences and guide on how to develop strategies to attract “devout tourists” to our region.

MÔNICA VELASQUES - Director of Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure at SESC/ES

PROF. MANOEL DE OLIVEIRA FILHO - Priest of the Archdiocese of São Salvador da Bahia, professor and curator of the Catholic Religious Tourism Course (UCSAL) and ecclesial advisor of the Pastoral of Tourism in Brazil (PASTUR). He is one of the authors of the book Historical and pastoral landmark of the Pastoral of Tourism in Brazil (CNBB). He provides consultancy highlighting the relationship between tourism and the Church and its connections with the private and public sectors.

JOSÉ ROBERTO DE OLIVEIRA - International writer and lecturer on the culture and historical formation of missions and Latin America.

ÉRIKA KUNKEL VAREJÃO - Director – President of Instituto Modus Vivendi for Social, Cultural and Environmental Responsibility.

In addition to the seminar, the FORUM, which will be held on July 7th at Anhanguera College, will be evaluating what has been implemented regarding the proposals presented by the 2025/2029 MANAGEMENT PLAN delivered to the municipal public authorities last year with suggestions for the organization and development of tourism in our region, which will be the responsibility of Anhanguera College.

For this year, the inclusion of the trade and public entities of Anchieta is crucial so that we can debate and propose actions for the development of religious tourism in our region, since the Sanctuary of São José de Anchieta is located in Anchieta.
